Deep Abrasion is the test that measures physical-mechanical wear suffered by the body of a non glazed ceramic tile. This test is much more severe than the PEI, being conducted using wearing equipment that rotates on the tile, although without a degree of comparison between both.
For non glazed products; 150 rotations should present a maximum mass loss of 175 mm3.
